LITTLE BELLIES CHARACTER NAMING COMPETITION – OFFICIAL RULES
Participation in this promotion (the “Competition”) is subject to and governed by these Official Rules (the “Official Rules”). By entering the Competition as set forth below, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules, as well as Every Bite Counts Pty Ltd’s and Every Bite Counts USA Inc.’s Privacy Policies. All applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations apply. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
PROMOTER
The promoter is Every Bite Counts Pty Ltd, trading as Little Bellies (ABN 72 112 282 256), Unit 6.03, 59–75 Grafton Street, Bondi Junction, NSW 2022, Australia.
ELIGIBILITY
As of the date of entry, participants must:
- be eighteen (18) years of age or older; and
- be legal residents of Australia, New Zealand, the United States, or Canada (excluding Quebec) (“Eligible Participant”).
Employees of Every Bite Counts Pty Ltd, Every Bite Counts USA Inc., their affiliated companies, agencies, and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. Every Bite Counts Pty Ltd and Every Bite Counts USA Inc. reserve the right to disqualify any entrant if they have reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached these Official Rules or any applicable terms and conditions or privacy policies.
HOW TO ENTER
Our Monster needs a name – help us name our mischievous little monster for your chance to win $2,500!
To participate, Eligible Participants must submit a monster name nomination via the official online entry form (littlebellies.com/monster) provided in Little Bellies’ promotional materials (promoter’s social media websites, littlebellies.com) during the Entry Period.
- Judging will be based on the nominated name which depicts the most creative, fun and suitable name for the monster character as featured in the promotional materials.
- Entries must be in English and may not contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate language.
- Eligible Participants may submit multiple entries.
- Parents/guardians may submit names suggested by their children, but the adult will be the official entrant.
- Entrants warrant that their submission is their own original work and does not infringe the rights (including intellectual property rights) of any third party.
Entry Period:
Opens 12:00 AM AEST 18 August 2025 and closes 11:59 PM 7 September 2025 (“Entry Period”).
All dates and times are Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) or Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT), as applicable. Entries received after the closing time in AEST/AEDT will not be accepted, regardless of the entrant’s local time zone.
All entries will be reviewed and shortlisted by the Every Bite Counts team, commencing at 10 AM AEST on 8 September 2025 at Unit 6.03, 59-75 Grafton St, Bondi Junction, Australia.
If multiple entrants submit the same name, those entrants will be placed into a random draw to determine the finalist spot for that name. These will occur at 10 AM AEST on 8 September 2025 at Unit 6.03, 59-75 Grafton St, Bondi Junction, Australia.
There will be 4 nominated names in the finalist spot. Finalists will be notified via the contact details provided at entry by 11 September 2025.
VOTING PERIOD
- The four (4) nominated monster names in the finalist spot will be announced: via promoter’s social media websites and littlebellies.com on 11 September 2025.
- Public voting: opens at 12:00 AM AEST 12 September 2025 to 11:59 PM AEST 21 September 2025 (“Voting Period”).
- Voting is open globally, but only one vote per person will be counted. Duplicate, automated, or fraudulent votes will be disqualified.
- At the end of voting period one of the four nominated monster names with the highest number of votes will be the winning monster name.
- The winner of the competition will be announced via the promoter’s social media websites and littlebellies.com by 26 September 2025, and the winner will be notified directly via the contact details provided at entry by 26 September 2025. The winner must respond within 14 days of notification or will forfeit the prize, in which case the promoter will conduct a random redraw from all entrants who nominated that winning monster name, and so forth until the prize is claimed. This random draw will occur at Unit 6.03, 59-75 Grafton St, Bondi Junction, Australia.
PRIZE DETAILS
One (1) winner will receive $2,500 in their local currency, based on their country of residence at the time of entry. Prize will be transferred via bank transfer to an account in the winner’s name only, within 30 days of prize acceptance. In the case of Australian residence, this will be into an ADI (Australian Deposit-taking Institution). Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for any other benefit.
Any taxes, fees, or other charges applicable to the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
ADDITIONAL TERMS
- By entering, participants agree to be added to the Little Bellies email list and may receive future communications from Every Bite Counts Pty Ltd and Every Bite Counts USA Inc. You may unsubscribe at any time.
- By entering, you grant Every Bite Counts Pty Ltd and Every Bite Counts USA Inc. a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish, and display your submitted name(s), along with your first name and country, for marketing, promotional, and other commercial purposes, without further compensation or approval.
- The Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram, Meta, Google, or any other third-party platform.
- Proof of entry does not constitute proof of receipt.
- Every Bite Counts Pty Ltd and Every Bite Counts USA Inc. reserve the right to cancel or modify the Competition at any time without prior notice, including in the event of circumstances beyond their reasonable control (force majeure).
GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Official Rules are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Every Bite Counts Pty Ltd, Every Bite Counts USA Inc., Meta, Google, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, and employees from any and all liability for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from participation in this Competition or acceptance, possession, or use of any Prize.
